Now WordPress has become the most popular content management system in the world i.e. it runs on one in every four websites.
According to the W3Techs Survey WordPress is at the top among all content management system almost 25% of websites worldwide.
Just two years ago, WordPress was used on 20 percent of website.
The two closest CMS Joomla and Drupal — have a combined use of 4.9 percent.
WordPress was once just a scrappy open source underdog.
The survey show in October, 29.5 percent of new sites used WordPress which confirm that the world of web design is going WordPress way.
Even though WordPress has become most popular CMS in the world, just like any other CMS, WordPress also has some shortcoming or issues specially for a beginner which must be understood before making your site on WordPress. For example you need to decide which WordPress Theme or Template you would want. You need to change WordPress default url, title, contact form, etc.
